Why Stun Guns

  • Direct contact weapon perfect for direct contact surprise attacks.
  • Easy to use no real training is necessary.
  • Stun guns come in different shapes and sizes. Some are camouflaged to mimic harmless devices like cell phones. Others are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand yet have the necessary stopping power. The small fry stun gun for example is only 3.25" long, 2" wide and only .75" thick yet it packs a 1 million volt punch. Click here for more information on small sized stun guns.
  • Extremely cost effective.
  • Can be used multiple times before a new battery is required.
  • Legal in most states without a permit.

Stun Gun Cons

  • Direct contact, can be rendered inefective when an attacker is armed with a more powerful weapon.
  • Lower voltage stun guns lack stopping power. It is always better to get a slightly more expensive higher voltage unit than an inexpensive low voltage one.
  • Stopping power dependant on how long the stun gun is maintained on the attacker.
  • Not always suitable as a hand gun substitute for home protection.
